I love that their mom is diligent about scheduling an appointment every fall to capture her children as they move through various stages of life.
Sometimes Mom and Dad join in and other times it is just the kids. We always manage to find a good spot and change things up a bit and every year a new photo ornament is hung on the tree to document this moment in time. What wonderful memories this family creates! This year, downtown Annapolis was our destination.

It was a beautiful day but very cold. I must say that the kids were troopers as they would take their jackets off , let me shoot a few frames and then bundle up again. They know the drill since they have done it for so many years. In addition, they know me so well so I barely have to give them instructions. After what has seemed like years of trying to get these kids together for family photos we finally hit the jackpot before Thanksgiving. We have been blessed with the most incredible weather this spring and fall. I know people talk about how brutal the winter may be and we should brace ourselves for the worst. So what? Maybe we will have to stay inside for a few days but it will have been worth it! The day I photographed the Whitacre Family in Linstead was simply divine!
