What a great morning in Linstead with the Latonick family! The kids surprised their mom with this family session and I have to say that I can’t think of a better gift for a mom. Getting young adults on the same schedule to come for photos is probably the last thing they would like to do on a Saturday morning. I had a hard time choosing the photos for my blog post these last few days because we laughed so much during their session that it was difficult to pick favorites. Hope they had as much fun as I did!

The girls were delightful and didn’t even need to be told to smile. You can tell they were relaxed as their personalities shine through in their photos.
Mom picked out out great clothes for this session! Now that flowers and grasses have popped almost anything goes but when you have colors like these there is a fun and happy element that is added to the photos. Sisters…..how lucky to have one and to be one in return. Whether you are the oldest or the youngest, you have a friend for life….truly a special relationship.

The reason for that is simply that most families have very few photos of mom with the kids….She is usually the one taking all the photos! Scarlett….beautiful name for beautiful little gal. She might not have a lot of hair yet but her eyes take you in and tell you everything you need to know. Big and brown and full of emotion. Who needs hair when you look like this???
I have had the pleasure of photographing Scarlett and her family for the last few years. I took her photos at birth and again at 6 months….This session was a bit past her 1 year old anniversary but we decided to wait to capture the nice weather and colors of spring….or summer as we would say here!
