I believe that it has been 8 years and counting that I have taken this family’s Christmas photos.  I have watched the children grow up and the treat has been all mine.  I love that their mom is diligent about scheduling an appointment every fall to capture her children as they  move through various stages of life.

Sometimes Mom and Dad join in and other times it is just the kids.  We always manage to find a good spot and change things up a bit and every year a new photo ornament is hung on the tree to document this moment in time.  What wonderful memories this family creates!  This year, downtown Annapolis was our destination.

It was a beautiful day but very cold.  I must say that the kids were troopers as they would take their jackets off , let me shoot a few frames and then bundle up again.  They know the drill since they have done it for so many years.  In addition, they know me so well so I barely have to give them instructions.   I had to include another little throw back…Riley loves the camera….always has…… and it makes my work so much fun!  Merry Xmas to the Burkes and please know that I am thankful that I get to see you all every season!
