The Thanksgiving holiday is so special. It revolves around family, food and giving thanks. When you are lucky enough to spend the holiday with family who has traveled far you are truly blessed. Such was the case with this lovely family in from Indiana for the weekend. What a treat to be able to take family photos when grandparents have all of their grandchildren together! I wish I could say that the weather cooperated with us that day but unfortunately it was awful!!! It was rainy and windy and the skies were as gray as they could be. We had a small reprieve where we we stepped outside for a few shots but most of our fun was inside. We had the most perfect day with great sunlight and the leaves provided a lovely, colorful backdrop to our scene. During this time of year one never knows if it will be warm enough to be without coats or if kids need to be bundled. Luck was on our side so the girls were able to show off their adorable jeans & boots without hiding behind layers.
