One of the best parts of my job is getting to know the families that I am so fortunate to photograph. Since I had been chatting with Luanne for weeks about her boys it was such a treat for me to finally meet them and spend the morning with them. Having a sister is a wonderful thing….it is a lifelong friend that shares your family history . In addition, if you are fortunate enough to live close to your sister it means that cousins can develop another relationship that will encourage ties to stay strong. I had the pleasure of photographing the families of these two wonderful sisters in anticipation of their parents anniversary coming up this summer. I can’t think of a better present. A testament to a legacy that lives on through children and grandchildren that will provide lots of smiles and joys in the years to come.

What a beautiful family! They gathered from near and far to be united for the holidays and I was the lucky one who got to capture their time together in Severna Park. You would never believe that these photos were taken in the end of December! We had a lovely day and everyone was even able to take off their coats without freezing!

The Houcks had a a full house in Severna Park for Christmas and I know that they all enjoyed being together for a few days. I can’t say that they were all overjoyed about dressing and posing the day after celebrating for family photos but I know they will be happy that they took the time to document this moment in time.
