I was so happy to finally photograph the Carter family!  We talked so many times about arranging a photo date and after getting a date where the kids where all free ( isn’t that the way it always goes?) we were ready to go! The forecast days before was for rain but the day of the shoot, the sun was out in full force and we thought we were in the clear!  Well….the best laid plans sometimes don’t work out the way we think!  I arrived at the Carter home and the drizzle began!  We decided to start with the kids and managed to get some photos under cover before the skies cleared.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We found so many wonderful spots around their lovely home and even managed to pull the dogs in for a few shots.

We headed down to the beach and that’s when the wind picked up and the skies turned ominously dark….we shot quickly and ran up the hill.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As I prepared to leave we walked to the front of the house and the sun was shining through the trees……I called everyone back out and we finished the session with beautiful light…..
