After what has seemed like years of trying to get these kids together for family photos we finally hit the jackpot before Thanksgiving.  In addition to the kids , Mom & Dad decided to join in and even Grandmom  stopped by to be a part of the session. Even though  no one was extremely excited about spending time on a Saturday afternoon to take photos I  hope they feel that it was worth their time when they see the great shots we got.

I have known these kids since they were babies and it is hard for me to believe that they are all grown ….one out of college, one almost done and another enjoying the last few years of HS.

I am not sure where the time goes but I am thankful that we were able to capture them at this point in their lives.  Although they didn’t want  to “cuddle”  too much at least they appeased me and gave in to a few little “touches” as well as some smiles.  🙂

There is something very special about having extended family close by and when a grandparent can  join their grandchildren to capture a moment in time I consider that a gift.  I happen to know this grandmother and I also know how much she loves these kids….another gift.  Thanks to all and may your holidays be bright and full of family….with plenty of smile and cuddles to go around! 🙂
