It is always wonderful when I am invited to photograph a  Maryland family that includes Grandparents, children and grandchildren.  I had the opportunity to do just that with the Carter family in Severna Park a few weeks ago. Linstead is beautiful this time of year and,  although this crazy weather has prevented lots of things from blooming and budding, we were happy to have a dry day without too much wind. 

As we all know, in this crazy world where everyone is running and multitasking it is often difficult to get everyone together for family photos.  Additionally, when you add teenagers to this mix with all the activities that kids are involved in these days it is even  harder to coordinate.  However, I promise, that if you take the time to do it, you will not be disappointed.

These photos become treasure for grandparents today and for grandchildren tomorrow.  What better gift than to capture a moment in time that documents Family….those who are blessed with rich history such as this are lucky.  And, if you choose to have the same number of dogs as you have children you can either consider yourself lucky once again….or some might say foolish!  However, if the  Carter’s ever find that they are missing their puppy,  there is a good chance that I will have her…..Adorable!
