This Downtown Annapolis Newborn Session was so much fun! I have known this family for some time as I took newborn photos of their son not that long ago! Beautiful children make for beautiful photos….especially when they cooperate. This group was no exception! And, even thought Jamesson wasn’t particulary as excited as his sister to have his photo taken I actually think he likes her so she will be able to stay!
This little diva was certainly dressed for her first photo session! Since we were caught in the storms with dark skies and no afternoon light we actually had to shoot again on the following day and she didn’t mind a bit!

I love when I get to see families over and over again as their families expand and they feel comfortable with me in their homes. I was so fortunate to be a part of this wonderful Downtown Annapolis Family Session last week! Grandparents, children, grandchildren all came together to make a terrific grouping on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Although it took a little while for the cutie pie in pink to warm up and let go of her mom, it all worked out in the end and it was worth the wait.
I certainly don’t think that my friends look like they are grandparents but I can tell you that they are the best….These kids adore them and love coming to Annapolis to spend time together as a family . What a treat for me to photograph Charlotte’s Senior Session a few weeks ago in Annapolis. It was so nice spend the morning with Charlotte, her mom and Charlotte’s friend Riley. I love to hear about where these amazing young ladies are headed to school to start a new beginning.
Although the temperature was up there, we were fortunate to find some shade and beautiful spots at Charlottes home to stage our photos. These are the memories that will be so special once she heads off to school in the fall.
It was an added bonus to get a few shots of these adorable girlfriends together. I am sure that their friendship will become even more important when they are in different places and need to chat about where life is taking them.
