As an  Annapolis Family photographer it is always a treat when I am able to be a part of a birthday celebration…especially in Sherwood Forest!  This family had a whole weekend of fun planned so I was thrilled to be asked to document a small part of their time together…after all that is the best birthday gift of all!

The whole family gathered in Sherwood and it was so obvious that they all had so much fun ….adults and children together.  Sons, daughters, sisters, cousins, grandparents and parents….FAMILY…..that is what makes the world go round!  With the busy lives that we all live it is a wonderful gift to see all these people come together to celebrate a special birthday. Everyone was patient as we arranged and rearranged groups.Oftentimes it is difficult with such a big group…especially in hot weather when there are so many fun distractions in Sherwood Forest on a Sunday morning! Somehow we fit it all in even there were a few moments when the end of the rope was reached!

As I often say, these photographs become legacy for family as time marches on .  Thanks so much to this terrific family for pausing long enough to do that for each other.  Happy Birthday and many thanks…..the honor was all mine!!!! And , oh by the way….we had a few jumpers!
